Richard Tur, Founder
Based in Queens, New York, Mr. Tur is a web design and communications consultant. He founded NoiseOFF in 2004 with the goal of increasing public awareness on the social and public health impacts of noise pollution. Previously, he has worked as a senior account executive at a top five public relations company.
Arline L. Bronzaft, Ph.D.
Professor Emerita, City University of New York. Dr. Bronzaft is an expert witness and consultant in environmental psychology. She researches, writes, lectures and advises anti-noise groups internationally on the effects of noise on mental and physical well-being.
Ron Czapala
A retired systems engineer and programmer in Louisville, Kentucky with 29 years in Information Technology. He created the NoBoomers.com site to help combat the boom car noise pollution problem in his community. He continues to lobby city council representatives to ensure enforcement of local noise ordinances.
Mark Huber
A citizen advocate on quiet communities in Richmond, Virginia since 1997. Mr. Huber has researched medical journals, historical and religious writings, poetry and fiction gleaning scientific and historical information about quiet and noise and their impact on humans, communities and societies. Mr. Huber has testified before local and state regarding the issue of noise. His testimony led to the withdrawal of a business seeking the re-zoning of land for a granite quarry.
Jeff McCulley
A veteran motorcycle mechanic and author of "Loud Motorcycles". Mr. McCulley is an activist engaged in the fight to abate motorcycle noise in his state of Pennsylvania and throughout the nation. He is working on additional articles relevant to motorcycle noise and the industry.
